James M. Lindsay is senior vice president, director of studies, and Maurice R. Greenberg chair at the United States Council on Foreign Relations, guiding six dozen research fellows in the David Rockefeller Studies Program. Dr. Lindsay has authored, co-authored, or edited more than fifteen books and fifty journal articles and book chapters. He was the inaugural director of the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law at The University of Texas at Austin, and has been a fellow at the Center for International Affairs and the Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University.
